Look at the little children lying in the street
They are dead because of hope
Look at the little baby at your feet.
She is dead because of hope.

Breathe in the stench of death.
All are dead because of hope.
The insanity of it all takes your breath.
You are insane now because of hope.

Dip your fingers into the blood of your friends
They lay dying because of hope.
There screams rip through the night your mind bends.
They stare into your eyes with hope.

You hold a bloody knife in your hands now.
You hold it because of hope.
You plunge it into your best friends breast.
She dies because of hope.

You fall to your knees and cry out in pain.
That pain is your hope.
Your eyes darken, and your world crashes down.
The world is gone now because of hope.

So stand amid the rubble and ruin of humanity, and look upon your future
Your future is without hope.
Draw your sword and have the courage to….
Your mind breaks because of hope

Plunge your sword into your heart.
All because you dared to have hope.
Die now for your sins and may they not be forgiven.
Your body falls to the ground now because of hope.

Close your eyes for the final time now.
They close because of hope.
Draw your last breath now and die.
