So he made a mistake
And messed up his life
That gives you no right to judge him
The last thing he needs is rejection
He just needs someone to love him

Don't tell me I can't be his friend
Or tell me to turn him away
Just because he's on a path
To his gloomy dying day

You don't even know his heart
Or why he acts the way he does
It's because people didn't give a damn
He was left to lie in his own blood

He had more problems than you'll ever know
And if everyone would stop being so shallow
You might see what I see
And come join me

Give this troubled boy
Who no one really thought about twice
A chance to be loved and cared about
Show him what it is to be nice

Because I know he's not all evil inside
I've seen him act sweet and kind
We used to be together all the time
So don't judge him
Look past his crime
