A poem on my opinion of rhyming

Rhyme

Must a poem rhyme
Every time?

Do the words have to fit,
Must you tell them to sit.

Do they stand in a line,
Avoiding the “poetry fine.”

Does clue go with shoe
Like one plus one equals two?

Tick tock tick tock,
Going along like the clock.

So binding and confining
I can’t stand all this rhyming!
