Two gemini witches share the same body.
Xena turned the item over in her hand. "I wander what what it's called." she said. She scowled as her sister spoke.
"I don't know why don't you ask Marvicks. Im sure he'd be more than happy to tell you."
"Be quiet! You scared the bajesus out of me!" she hissed. Xena tucked the item inside of the mojo bag that was tied to her broomstick. "I don't want you to say another word to me until we get far away from here. Do you hear me Zevia?"
Zevia was annoyed at her sisters rude behavior, and would annoy her now by taking her advice. She didn't say another word as her sister mounted their broomstick and flew off into the night.
When the girls were far away from the house that they had just broken into Zevia decided that she had annoyed her sister long enough. "Why are you always so rude to me? We have shared the same body for fourteen years. Anyone would figure that you'd be used to me talking in your head."
Xena wasn't in the mood for this conversation right now, so she just stared straight ahead. She couldn't wait to get this item safely to the B.R.S. Headquarters. (The B.R.S stands for Broomstick Retrievel Squad.) She was tired, and just wanted to go to bed.
"Xena," Zevia yelled inside her sisters head, "I am talking to you, and I refuse to shut up until you answere me. You never answere that question, no matter how many times I ask it. What is your problem? We are sharing the same body, and used to actually get along. What happened to ruin that, huh? Damn it, talk to me!"
Zevia rambled on about how disrespectful her sister was, and how she missed how things used to be, until the B.R.S headquarters came into view.
Xena sighed in relief. "Silence finally." she thought to herself. Unfortunately, her sister and her shared the same body, so Zevia heard it.
"I heard that." Zevia said.
Xena scowled, refusing to say anything to Zevia. She knew that if she responded, her sister would start her rambling again, and Xena didn't know how much more of that she could take.
The broom finally came to a stop a few feet from the ground. Xena stepped off of it, being careful not to loose her balance. She had once lost her balance getting off of a broom, and lost the item she had retrieved. Well, the item had went tumbling into the forrest, and a gargoyle-belonging to a vampire-had snatched it up. Zevia had been in control of their body that day, and had panicked. The vampire had gotten ahold of the item, and used it to become human. Thankfully he had been on the good side, or he could've used the item to take over the world.
Xena winced. Zevia had nearly been taken away from her that day. The leader of the B.R.S. had said that Zevia was to immature to be intrusted with such important tasks. They had threatened to give her a body of her own, and send her back to Earth, erasing her memories of anything she knew about the "Hiddens" worlk. They had also threatened to erase Xena's memory of ever having met Zevia. Xenia had threatened to bring down their whole sociey if they even layed a finger on her sister. They eventually seen how devoted the girls were to each other as sisters, and reconsidered. The girls had been very lucky, and Xena did not want to take the chances of anything like that ever happening again.
Xena removed the mojo bag from her broomstick, and helled it tight as she ran across the lawn, and entered the B.R.S.'s headquarters. She ran up the four flight of stairs to her left, and continued running until she reached the Vault Room.
The Vault Room was used to secure items of all values, rather they be magical or not. It was highly enchanted with spells from a thousand generations, and had never been broken into. Xena just hope it stayed that way. If any of these items were to ever get out of the safety of the headquarters, and into the real world, theres no telling what kind of place the "Hidden" world would become. She shivered at the thought.
