Sisterly Bond

We look nothing like each other, then why is the connection so strong?
We've never had the same ideals; never elicted unanimous responses from us.
Amidst differences, fortiutously we have this seemingly telepathic bond.
Reading each other like a book ---- one look and all is revealed.
Perhaps a shadow has been cast
Obscuring our views, our similarities, however explicit.
Yet the power of silence has never been so evident
Words do not suffice to describe the care that is prevalent
Neither through actions nor through any from of communication
But almost as if we were mind readers or
had thoughts leaking out of our brains
Drop by drop they paginate every page of our train (of thought).

We were always crusaders
Believing in our cause.
One for leadership, another for fanatism;
Everyone assumed we were as different as night and day
and said it was our loss.
Dubious glances were treated as a norm,
but we never thought to reform.
For us, this sisterly bond we share is everlasting
While these confused souls are transient.

So tell me, why do all of you fail to notice the resilence of this bond?
