Early before six, I hide in my bed.
Shrilly and harshly my wake-up bell rings.
Sleepy and bleary-eyed I raise my head.
Oh how I hate it when my alarm clock rings.
Blindly I gropd fir the switch in the dark.
It continues to shreak that it's monring time.
Hard as I tried, I could not reach my mark.
Being up this early is truly a crime.
The clock finally shuts up. Quiet, how cool.
It would be so nice to go back to sleep;
It is such a great shame that today there is school.
And I know that time always forward will creep.
I pull off my blankets and sigh in dismay...
And recall with a jolt today's Saturday.
Plese don't laugh; it's for a bunch of little kids.
