what happens in the principals office? |
Melissa stormed down the hallway to the office. She was angry at the way her math teacher went to describe Jacob. When she got to the office she sat in a chair next to Jacob. "What are you doing down here?" Jacob asked "the same reason you're down here, talking back to the teacher" Melissa stated. "you actually talked back to the teacher" Jacob asked "yeah what about it?" she snapped back. Jacob laughed. "whats so funny?" she asked. "you actually talked back to a teacher! What did he say that you snapped at him?" "you wouldnt amount to anything" "Melissa" Jacob laughed "I'm NOT going to amount to anything I only go to school because I have to" "whatever" Melissa whispered and turned. 'Jacob will amount to something, he's the greatest person i've ever known' she thought to herself. "aww come on Melissa i'm sorry" he said. 'God I pissed her off. What the fuck is wrong with me?' Jacob asked himself. They both sat in the office in silence "Jacob the principal will see you now" the secretary stated. Jacob got up and walked into the office. Melissa sat in silence just thinking. 'homecoming's coming up and i still dont have a date. Wow, if only i werent so stubborn i could go with any guy in this school. But I want to go with Jacob, what am I saying?! Jacob's like my best friend I cant ask him! Oh, but I have to, its the only thing that will make me happy' Melissa thought to herself. 'shit I dont know what to do!' Jacob came out of the office. "Melissa the principal will see you now" the secretary said. As she walked to the principals office she brushed against Jacob, they both looked at each other and smiled. She opened the door and sat down in a chair across from the principal. "Melissa, I never thought I'd see you in here!" she exclaimed. "yeah well the world is full of surprises" Melissa snapped back "anyway, Mr. Lonile informs me that you talked back to him in the matter of Jacob, do you want to tell me whats going on?" "he doesnt believe in his students and he always talks bad about Jacob, instead of helping him he just yells at him or ignores him and I hate Mr. Lonile!" Melissa said, frustrated. "why does it matter to you anyway?" "because Jacob's my friend and I know him and if people would give him a little support maybe he'd actually try. We talk all the time and he says that nothing in this life is worth doing because nobody ever says he did a good job!" "Mel..." "no dont try to tell me its not true I've been friends with Jacob since 4th grade, I've been to his house all his mom does is yell at him and tell him that no matter what he does he's going to end up a hobo on the street! Not only that but then people like Mr. Lonile and YOU have to lower his self esteem more! YOU GUYS DONT CARE ABOUT THE KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY YOUR GETTING FOR TUITION!" Melissa shouted, standing up. "Melissa, I'm sorry, your right, we should give Jacob more support. I will talk to his teachers and take action myself just please dont get into any more trouble I'd hate to have to call your mother" she said. "fine" Melissa stated. "you may go back to class now" the principal said. Melissa got up and walked out, she felt better but she was still angry. |
