My Best Friend

There is a friend I think of
A friend I miss
A friend who has left too early
Who has gone from this place
She is so very near
But yet so very far away
I feel her presence every day
I know in life she is helping me
In her small special way
She impacted my life
With as quickly she came in and out of it
She was gone in an instant
All the memories we had together
Are the only things to sustain me
Through my grief and sadness
Pranks she pulled put a smile on my face
The memory of her laughter
Puts gladness in my heart
Even though fate tore
Her from this life
It could never change
What it was like to know her
To love her and have her as a friend
A sister...someone to confide in
She is gone but not forgotten
She was & still is my best friend........
