I feel like I’ve been betrayed
By someone I knew too close for words.
But I never knew you;
I would never let myself get that close.
Maybe I should have opened my core...
But would you have ever let yourself in?
Breaking the outer layer’s the hardest part;
Even when you’re doing it for yourself.
Betrayed by the boy that everyone knows;
Everyone knows but me.
Or am I the only one who ever knew?
And the information’s just been lost?
