Global Terror

Some say that the sword is full of great might
Compared to the pen it is a mere blight
As our world "superpower" wants only to fight
Which seems to me that they are not very smart

Learning to negotiate would be a fine start
Being a good role model should be their part
It's grim what can happen with a hard heart
But the way things are going we'll all be blown to hell

Terrorism and fear have been the big sell
we were quick to say "yes" when our assumed safety fell
on what others have done we should not dwell
George W Bush it's the truth you must convey

If only it were that we all had to pray
Then peace in this world would soon have its day
But our GOD and their GOD don't think the same way
So who's right and who's wrong it's to hard to utter

It's said that Al-Queda is run by a nutter
But Al-Queda's a name that we did first mutter
Our Muslim paranoia is now like a bad stutter
In Iraq it's the innocents blood in the street

So what more can I say as I finish my bleat
Christian and Islamic leaders must meet
A world free of terror would be a great feat
But it's not been without since Eve had her delight
