A philosophical poem about people's reaction to points of time and energy. |
Specific points of time People have the gift to recognize when they are involved in moments of great energy. We take in a small portion of the immensity of existence But what seems to us as if all the energy of our collective experience has gathered in our bones. We are overwhelmed by it we channel it through our thoughts It arrives as emotion. Depression Anxiety Joy Rage The manifestations build up as the situation become more complex. We feel more We question our experience more As the rush washes over us We become overwhelmed by our feelings The flux of energy flows between the people involved Until it reaches a point of pure frenzy A point at which those emotions may cause the final destruction of the being they occupy. The point at which you and a person realize there is no more. A point you cannot drag yourself away from. A point that holds onto you Summoning all the energy of everything you’ve known of yourself Of your other and connecting you as one. But foolishly you break away from that point Trusting in time and not the other. Trusting in the safeness of experience. Denying moments Never living in specific points of time. |
