Bug Juice

I'm sure how it got it's name.
A strange creature indeed,
It gets horny all the same.

Banana slugs, when in need.
leave others a trail of a slime.
to follow as they feed.

Finding their way to a mate
while munching the slimy trail.
Not really such an unusual trait.

It must be related to the snail.
Their tentacles erotic
both female and the male.

They sound quite exotic
I wonder if they're aquatic?
