Out of the blue
terror appears
The crash
is deafening

As the clouds
of dust settle
The fear and panic
is uncontrollable

Out of the fear and panic
and the disbelief
comes unity, compassion
and love

As they are trying to
pull us apart
We enforce our strength
and pull together as one

We lean on each other
in every way possible
We support each other
as each day passes

Instead of causing us
to get weak and fall
It helped us stand up
and be strong

We are Americans
we stand tall and brave
and we will not fall
we will stand firm
