Take me to the edge

Where reality is of your own

A place where all creation halts

And what remains is just your soul



Take me from this place

Where in an instant life can slide

The fear, the anger, the hate

From which we perpetually hide



Flown on platinum wings

Soaring high above the world

When reality shifts yet again

And back to home we’re hurled



A pity, it really is

That we must set sail

From our own creation

Our deadly, blackened veil



The truth we have created

Chosen from so many more

With each window we open

We close another door



This illusion in which we thrive

This fantasy that locks us in

Take me from this place

For I set sail again
