As dawn's light breaks through my window and wakes the screaming beast that resides on the table beside my bed, I stretch and yawn in grave denial that it is night no longer.
I hastily fumble a firm swat on the beast's head to silence its unrelenting cries of torment and torture and pull my covers over my head. Comfortable, content and shrouded by my makeshift night, the beast stirs once more, snatching me from the brink of blissfull sleep and slamming me into reality. The reality that I will be late for work if I ignore the beast once more.
Dreadfully I rise and give into the beast's demands. I slowly begin my routine to prepare for yet another boring day at the same boring job to fullfill my meaningless existance of my mediocore life.
