He Saves!

It's been 2,000 years
But what happen still effects me
He was beaten and flogged
And then bang, bang, bang
He was nailed to a cross
He was smitten and scourned
He had done nothing wrong
They all hated Him
We all hated Him
But He still stayed on that cross
He could've gotten off
But then we would've been condemned to hell forever
Even though we treat Him like nothing
We mock him and scourn Him
He didn't get down
He didn't condemn us He saved us and redeemed us
We did nothing. He gave us everything
But His death isn't the end
Three days later He rose again!!!
So He not only took our sin
But He conquered it forever
Now He is our Brother, Savior, Redeemer, Friend
Now we can be in heaven with Him
Hallelujah!
