Deserted Life

Wandering through a deserted town
Empty stores and houses
No other person can be found
The sky is pregnant with purple and blue
The air is thick and laden with dust.
No sound comes but the hush of breath
From long gone chests and lungs.
Gone are the days when the people roamed
And now I am all alone.
