The day my son-in-law lost his life and the knock on The Door I Recieved to tell me
A knock on the door,

that changed our lives forever,

Creaking as it opens,

not wanting to hear the words,

about to be spoken,

A grieving face stands before me,

A mere image of man,

With a heart that has been broken,

His eyes, red and swollen

The darkness that lay inside,

His body starts to shake,

He slowly speaks in a quivering voice,

Please dear God let this be a mistake,

A ghostly appearance blankets his face,

He reaches for my hand,

Trembling as we embrace,

I look into his tear stained eyes,

My heart beating,

I am pleading,

Please do not let this be my demise,

At 1:00 p.m. last night~
Jeffery lost his life.
