The pain of an abused love.
Tearing searing pain reaches every nerve
My legs gone weak, arms fallen to my sides
Tears spill down my bloodied face
Dark eyes look down on me, endless pools of void
Worthless and pitiful, words repeated over and over in my ears
I can feel my heart pounding, my head feels like exploding
Unbearable pain courses through every vein
With every push comes blood, spilling down my legs
A slap hits cheekbone, more tears fall down bruised flesh
‘This is love’ He says with anger
Pounding, hitting, pain and blood
If this is love, then what the hell is hate?
