Should I have known,
Or should I have realized
That after a while it would all be gone.
You would take away everything--

A dark veil of love covered my eyes.
Still, I longed to be by your side.
Soon you knocked on my door begging for forgiveness.
Blinded..I let you back in.
Many times you left me.
Many times you returned again.
Many times you were forgiven.
Now you're gone.
You're not coming back.
I'm left all alone in a world of my own.
