Fushia's Quotes and Sayings

Just to let you all know this is a work in process. I have begun writing these recently and have been wondering what other people think of them since the reviews I have gotten so far have been excellent. Thank you for your consideration and I will continue to put these down. I have also now begun a book of these that I am going to call Sententia vel Laudo, which is Latin for Sayings or Quotes.

Nature
Nature is my chosen parents. The mother that gives me love and the father I respect.

No matter what race we are, color we appear, where we came from, where we are going, and how we think, we all have something in common. We all have a story that we can tell.

Poems are like smooth streams. Some flow gently, flowing around rocks with simplicity. Then others are raging and barbaric, boulders fierce in it's path.

Hobbies

"Carpe Diem" does not mean, "Carp of the day."

Fishing shows us that not every sport has the goal of winning or being the best.

Singing is showing the beat of your heart, and then filling in the blanks with your soul.

Running is the feet showing the pulse of your heart, with your soul trying to go faster.

An ecstasy of swirling wind, heat, and emotion. I call it running.

Music is the poetry of those who can’t read.

Dancing is showing your soul in its purest form. Life is your stage and the music is your heart.

Self

Sometimes it's not about legal or illegal, good or bad, or moral and immoral. It's about doing what's right and wrong.

An argument will only exist if you chose to fight back.

Take pride in yourself, there's only one of you.

The power of truth faith shall never fail you.

Intelligence is not about success; it’s about how many times you fail trying.

Conforming is denying your soul of individuality.

Never give something thoughtlessly, for your gift could be far worse thank you think.

Don't ask what the future will bring, be what the future brings.

The future teaches us lessons, and if we forget teaches them again.

Believe in yourself and others will believe in you.

There's always tomorrow where the sun is brighter and the path is new.

Life is not about using someone else's quotes; it's about making up your own.

In life, it doesn't matter if you are wealthy or rich, smart or stupid, married or single, republican or democrat, or whom you choose to love. What does matter is that you are happy.
