The Mountain and...YOU

Haunted by your reticent face
In the midst of my tranquility
I quest for some reasons, why so?

Silhoutte of your perfect body
Flash with the tint light of gray
In the images I see around me.

Is my soul asking for compassion?
Is my mind becoming somnolent
For the absence of your shadow?

I am the mountain feeling the mist,
Touch… moist every living things within it
Till it becomes a blanket of clouds I need.

Clouds covering the wholeness of its being
The curves of perfect hills and valleys
Hiding from the jealous eyes of the sun.

I am the deep quiet river passing along
With the rumbling base of the water down
Bring me to the sea where it belongs.

I seek… I find… I conquer… as they say
I am part of nature, thus nature owns me
With you I find the beauty that pleases me.
