Maiden Of The Night

Her eyes are staring into the abyss,
Adding more beauty to her white bliss;

She looks to the dawn for something more,
A feeling she had in heart before,

A feeling she cannot find today,
Something she lost in winter's ballet;

But in dawn's light her answers don't lie,
But rather within the midnight sky;

The stars will comfort her come night,
The moon will help by shining her light;

But the maiden know's not what night will bring,
And until she doth see, her heart cannot sing;

Night will call her with it's soft voice,
And only then will she rejoice;

Young maiden, go out into the night,
There you'll find love within the light.

Your true calling is to be the Maiden of the Night,
