The resonant bell rings to kick off my hour of angst.
Everyone breaks and mingles together.
The laughs and slamming lockers are too much for my lonely ears.
Everyone takes their place among the blue-eyed esteemed.
I survey the gigantic room and gather that there is no place for me.
So I trudge down to the vending machines,
and I grab a two dollar lunch.
A Coke and a Snickers is all I really need.
I drag myself over to the thick door that reads "WOMEN",
Glance around for spectators, and I promptly head in.
As I turn the corner, I worry of the princesses apply their masks.
But, thankfully they've already joined the massive crowd.
So I open the stall door and stare at my chair disgustingly.
But still I take seat and tuck under my feet,
To make sure no visitors recognize my timid tennis shoes.
And on the toilet, I quietly eat.
