I'm on a mission to waste time

Time's Wasted

Time you're running out on me?
Ha! Run and you will see
I turn and find my way
To the outskirts of yesterday...

For there's nothing Id rather do
Than to waste the likes of you
You're my only motivation

To seek this destination...

With the world of today at my back
I am soon wrapped in an ambience
Of freedom and nostalgia
Their harmony is bittersweet

A melody of the past

Every so often I glance back
For I am always aware
That you like to sneak up on me

Time, do you ever rest?

Even your clichés seem timeless...

And tiresome...

I ponder the things I hear about you...
A wrinkle in Time
Hmm...
Is that why people are always pressed for Time?

A stitch in time saves nine
Saves nine?
Nine what?
Nine Times?

I decide to leave that one alone...

I consider wrist watches
Is fashion what they state?
Or are they manacles?
Fashioned and fastened to enslave?

But out here...
I see through you
You are wearing thin
You must be over pressed

I know that you can't fly here
No matter how much fun I have
Ha! Ha!

I think of troubled Times
Why was I in trouble?
Only Time will tell

What a snitch!

Your need to be needed
Is insatiable
Give me a minute...
If I can find the Time...

I bet you love all the songs

Time after Time
If I Could Turn Back Time
Okay maybe you don't love that one

Sorry Cher

Now here's a funny thought -
Jim Croce trying to stuff you in a bottle
Time in a bottle enslaved by Time
Like a genie; waiting for someone to find Time

Now those would be some long Arabian Nights

How would Einstein's theory work out for you in there?
Little cramped for Time?
And space?

Ha! Ha!

With the sound of my laughter
I arrive at yesterday...
You dare not follow me
Knowing all who were once your prisoners

Come here just to kill you...

Yesterday just can't find time for you...
For Time lines
Limits Time

Even for you...

I may not have all the Time in the world...
But I do have all of yesterday's world

And Time...

You have none of it

So stay in your realm
Where your ostensible nature
Prevents you to see

That you yourself...

Are prisoner of Time
