The Calm Blue Sea

The calm blue sea, glimmering in the sun,
Children playing, having fun.
Twilight comes, people go,
Leaving the beach, as the tide falls low.

As twilight darkens, the seagull calls,
Darkness settles on roofs and walls.
The little white waves play around,
Washing out footprints in the ground.

Morning breaks; the sea is calm,
Children sit in the shade of a palm.
The day returns, but forevermore,
People have fun near the shore.
