To my son
Just in case I don’t wake up from my sleep
I want you to have these words to live by and keep
Always know that I love you
And I know that you love me too
Take care of your family as they are more priceless than gold
Take care of the aces you hold
Tell those that you love that you do
Hold your temper and never turn it loose
Family should always be your number one goal
With out them you are but a lone soul
Do your best know matter what you are doing at the time
It is always your time to shine
Listen to the words of the song not just the tune
Take time to wonder about the moon
If you break some one’s heart at least feel remorse
No that the most effective rout might not be the smoothest course
Your job as a parent is to ensure that your kids end up better than you did.
Make sure no matter what dad says you have fun while you’re a kid
To be a good person the truth is all you need
But the truth is not all you need to succeed
Love your kids and make them mind
Make sure they are respectful and kind
Demand respect from your peers
When others are hurting don’t be ashamed to shed your tears
Speak your mind as long as you have mind to speak
It depend on how many times you have all ready turned the other cheek
Honesty, Respect and, Love can save the world through
You can fly as high as you want to
All ways have time for your mother
You only can handle one lover
Use your brains for good will
Never stand still
Believe in God and he’ll believe in you
Not all your dreams will come true
Keep your eye on the devil
Know he is there waiting for you to drop to his level
Trust no one but love all
All ways come when your mom calls
Have fun and crank it up
Always claim it when you stank it up
Honesty, Respect and Love
And the good Lord above
Know that dad will always be here
