An Ember burns

Scattered among the ashes
Of the dying dream,
An ember of hope burns,
Quivering , attempting to gleam.

A spark flares,
Warming the empty heart,
Hope has not departed ,
Burning a fresh new start.

Young and alive,
Sitting by the hearth,
The weaver begins the task,
Creation giving birth.

A spark of faith fans the flames,
Breathing life, the dreamer lives
And from the ashes despair has left,
An ember burns and eternity begins.
