Turning on my computer I am impatient for it to start
It always seems to take longer each day.
I wait with trepidation and butterflys in my stomach
Hoping to speak to you one more time.
My computer finally boots up and I quickly open messenger
My heart beating faster as I look for you to be online.
The butterflys go wild as I see your name
And the word Online alongside it.
I know we have never met,
Face to face, but we have talked online
It seems like forever
Sharing our secrets that no others know.
Phoning you up so I can hear your voice
Missing you deeply when I can’t.
And at the end of each day my heart hurts
Knowing it is not into your arms I go
When I come home from the office.
As each day passes I fall deeper into the wells
That are your beautiful eyes
Enchanted and bewitched by your gorgeous smile
I fall deeper and deeper in love with you.
