Wonder, Where You Are

Wonders of the modern world
swayed in the midst
of a hurricane.
Water violently washed the dock
then the whole sea entered the room
I remember only shadows of the morning
when my hours turned into years,
into yesterday
where dreams seemed forever
with the sunshine warming my face

I once danced in the moon light
and sang sweet melodies
to whoever would listen
I searched for you,
but the sea ,
called you home

Now I sit and wonder where you are.
