THE THINGS THAT MAKE UP THIS WORLD

I thought as the wind brushed across my face
Of the things that make up this world
These things of time
These things of space

I wonder what it all means
The drifting of a cloud
The color of the lands
Browns and tans and yellows and greens

I feel so small in the midst of things all around
The endless skies
The rolling hills
My heart fills with the warmth of life’s sound

In the center of God's work I can do nothing but admire
The blazing sun
Rivers so deep
Miracles of sleep,ice and fire

If it wasn’t for Heaven I would wish for it to never end
The precious moments
The good times
This world full of rhymes and laughter of a close friend
