A soap opera about friendship, relationships, and love
(Melissa motions for Viv to come over to her table while Tonya goes to the ladies room. Viv walks over to her table. Melissa warns Viv that Tonya is clueless about her lifestyle. At least that is what Melissa thinks)

MELISSA
Hey dude, Tonya doesn’t know that I’m gay. So don’t say anything. Keep your fucking mouth closed. (Melissa jokingly says.)

(Viv smirks)

VIV
Melis’, I don’t have to say a word. Your look is a dead give-away, man. I betcha’ a hundred bucks that she already know that your gay. And I’ll betcha’ two-hundred that she wants to fuck you.

MELISSA
Well… believe it or not, I don’t want to fuck her. I’m just looking for a cool female friend to hang out with

VIV
Yeah Right.

MELISSA
Seriously man.

(Tonya walks back to the table.)

TONYA
What are you two talking about?
(A rhetorical question, but she really wants to know)

MELISSA
Oh nothing much. Viv was talking about her performance tonight

VIV
No I wasn’t (Viv laughs. Melissa gives Viv the evil eyes.)

TONYA
Melissa, do you mind if I drop my car off at my place and I ride
with you to the park? I'd like to shower and change.
(Tonya's cell phone rings. It's her friend Sasha.)
Excuse me, I have to take this call.
(Tonya walks away from the table. Viv whispers to Melissa,
"give me my two hundred dollars, referring to the bet.")

SASHA
Girl, are you still out with butch-lady?

TONYA
(Tonya is laughing)
Yeah girl, we're sitting here talking. I'm trying
to get her to admit that she's the one sending
the flowers.

SASHA
Well, be careful. She sounds like a stalker to me.

TONYA
I'll talk with you later. I think we're about to leave. We're
going to the park later.

SASHA
What! I bet she's trying to get in your pants

TONYA
Probably, but I love dick. Dick only.

SASHA
okay
(Sasha speaks in a unsure tone.)
call me later.

TONYA
okay sweetie
(Tonya hangs up and walks back to the table)
