looking for a deal
and a quick emotional fix
buying those expensive heals

Always in a hurry
not stopping to think
of all retail's secrets
that produce such a stink

Look! fifty percent off!
only for a day!
buy it in a hurry!
Quick! now! don't delay!!
            *
Markup is madness
clearance still produces profit
we except this perception
of retail's deceiving wit
            *
television, radio
whatever it takes
to sell a product
so corporate makes..
            *
a dollar, a dollar
a billion! for sure
step on the common folk
with deception's lures
            *
grocery stores
with their package tricks
generic drugs
with dangers in the mix
            *
chemicals broadly introduced
creating children with A.D.D.
pollution from making products
that's killing you and me
              *
Oil companies that we don't need
because enlightened souls have evolved
beyond Corporate America's consuming greed
Alternate sources, even the sun
              *
Solar panels would do the job
to power our homes
the ocean's tide, the wind
all waiting to be utilized
              *
but then who would pay
our elite corporate controllers?
who would be there to dictate or needs?
through media and smoke and mirrors..
              *
creating a world unbalanced
so that we want everything we see
and have only credit cards to pay with
because wages are not a fair fee
              *
where is our leader, one of the soul?
who SPEAKS TRUTH and not visions
of "America's dream"
this matrix we survive in
              *
Its time for the soft spoken
to take a stand
its time for enlightened souls
to inherit their land
                *
STOP living materialistic!
STOP excepting every change!
when morals are being compromised
by leaders that play games
                *
We are not embracing what is right
for ALL souls on this earth.
We believe in "Corporate America"
and have forgotten, ALL HUMAN WORTH
