What are the merits of revolution? A new beginning, a second chance--but disorganization. With our gazes set towards the sun, we cannot see whatever evils may lie between that orb and our eyes. In this way believe the end justifies the means. But oh, the means! The terrible prices we pay from the wallets of our hearts and spirits! For in the end we see that blood is blood…a man bleeds the same as does a Bovine, or a monkey for that matter. In this sense, could it be that the means create the end? That when we reach the sun we find its dazzling majesty to be superficial, and it’s much larger, and hotter and brighter than we ever imagined? How terrible the thought that in justifying the means the end was transformed! That the end is no longer desirable! Perhaps it was better that the sun stayed where it was, and we as well. My god, my god! What have we done in the name of common sense? As our rhetoric and idealism catch fire and sink into the sun, was it really so beneficial as to merit pursuit? If there are any merits to revolution, where have they gone?
