another moment
better than the rest
got to be the best
night of them
all
sit and listen to the
call
of the owl
and the howl
of that unknown
beast
when you realize
its just your heart
finding the one
next to you
looking into your
eyes
sighing
is the one you could be with for
a long time
its a stitch in time
but that stitch
can complete a
quilt
just as a kiss can complete a night
but the end
is not in sight
you lie back down
on that concrete
and look back to the stars
the night is clear
just like your minds
but are they empty
or full of memories
of the night before
when you took it a step
further
are they full of feelings
you never thought you'd have
both good and bad
happy and sad
the soundtrack of
life
has a funny playlist
sometimes you sing the wrong
pitch
but you always find your
way back
to the tune
and croon
louder than you ever
thought you might
but fly that kite
enjoy another night
on the
cold concrete
with warm hearts
under the stars
