Uncertainty: widow, never a bride
Solemn, watchful, overcautious and sad.
Like monsoon's ever present cloud she resides
Over those who are, at deciding, bad.
In unanswered letters and unsaid words
She lurks, unseen to the unsuspecting eye.
And in the in-betweens she hides, unheard
Waiting for me to slip; she's at my side.
Strained is my resolve. I should truly try
To resolve my chained dilemma, but how
When uncertainty has made my thoughts dry.
Once more to uncertainty shall I bow.
But wait. The monsoon is over. Sun rays chime-
All that resolve needs is a bit of time.
