About a girl sick of the pressures of her life, wishing she could be non existent.
Watch as she falls into the dark abandon,
Lungs gasping for a beath of air
Echoing the cries of the ancient ones of Babel.
Help! She screams at nothing
For nobody listens, nobody cares
That she’s drowning in a pool of dread and water.

She pushed her head above the rising water,
A last hope that she might lie not in abandon:
A hope that maybe someone cares.
She fills her lungs with drops of air,
Yet, try as she might, she feels on her lips nothing.
Is she only another fool of Babel?

Try htough she does to climb the tower of Babel,
She only falls back into the black water
To drown in her thoughts of nothing
But the Great Redeemer who abandoned
Her and left her with only air
Beneath her feet. Doesn’t he care?

She could feel her guilt mounting – why does she care?
She screams out her failures to Babel
But they die on the cold night air
As a monarch dies on pond water.
She wants so badly to just abandon
All of it and be left in beautiful nothing.

Oh the beauty of nothing:
No worries or guilts or angers or cares.
Yet, instead of absence, she fills with abandon
Like the lonely man in the crowd of Babel
She longs to be a ripple on the water
To fade out unknown in the summer air.

But she sits in a winter wood numb from cold air
Looking at an evergreen, she sighs because it is nothing.
The sap runs like the Nile water,
It bleeds because nobody cares.
It reaches toward the heavens like Babel.
It reaches only to be left in abandon.

And this winter air only kills the message of care.
The ears of Babel understand nothing.
Please, she shouts to dark abandon, as she falls, falls into the water.
