Rainy Paradise

In a land a 1000 miles away
As raindrops fall
I put myslef to sleep
         
The soft sound of drops
Dripping from the green leaves
Soothing me almost soundlessly
         
The four shaded walls covered with shadows
So full of light and life
Closing upon me tightly
Giving me a warm embrace
         
Dreaming of distant places
Golden locks of hair and
Bright, friendly smiles
I venture into the intimate night
         
Whatever my fantasies be
Whatever my broken heart's cries be
This refuge of mine shall tkae them all in
         
And more a home to me than
Any other I ever had
Return my sorrows and joys
