Our boys dress in uniform
And get ready for war
They train and prepare
To land on distant shores
Their eyes see too much
And boys become men
They want to finish their duty
And make it home again
The soldiers return
New men, worn and hard
Wounds inside and out
Our boys are now scarred
They gave of themselves
Sacrifices were made
And never, not once
Were their loyalties swayed
They fought for our freedom
Their valor rang true
And defended our flag
Of red, white and blue.
