The Hunt


It has been on a blood hunt for several weeks now the trail has led him to here. He watches them from a far knowing he is only minutes away from erasing a old stain of blood.

"Hey what the hell is that" "I don't know but if it moves shoot it" Now is the time for attack he can smell the fear in that air and he swoops down on them.
The first tries in vain,a shot rings out missing him by two feet he glides through the air twisiting and turning dodging the gun fire now it is his turn he strikes hard and fast crippling the first and leaps towards the second his stingers are sharp and pierce the victim like a knife through hot butter he does not hear the screams of the other two only the third remains.

"What are you he ask's? Please don't kill me the words trigger a symphony of thoughts that rush a million memories to his head. Thoughts he had buried long ago now reach out and touch him reminding him of a differant time when he was a helpless child and could only watch as his entire family was slaughtered in front of him. The memories of his sister crying to him Alec help me makes him feel so angry a rage he can no longer control he tightens his grip on the Third. Still lost in his thought's he remembers his sister's last words were Alec I love you.

For with those kind words there is mercy at least for today.

"Tell your boss I'm coming for him it screams. Now he hears the sirens are close and must disappear into the night he slips into the shadows and with ease and begins the hunt again.
