Lay Me Down

Lay me down at the feet of Jesus
I am beaten, bruised, and broken
But by His stripes I'm healed

Take me before the King,
That I may hear His angels sing
"Holy, holy, is the Lord Almighty!"


I love You, my God
I'm only just beginning to trust in You
I will run to You when You call
I will worship you in spirit and in truth
Jesus was nailed to the cross, and He died
You sacrificed Your only Son for me
You bought me for a price
By Christ's blood I am set free
Lord, I will obey Your every word


Lay me down at the feet of Jesus
He is King, He is Lord, He is Love
And love is what I need, cuz I feel so empty inside

Lord, Your holiness brings me to my knees
Fill me with Your Spirit, for which my soul is aching
For I do truly hunger and thirst for Your righteousness
