Born too soon

A new baby is here
Born too soon.
Courageous as she
Departs the womb that should have
Enclosed her for so much longer.
Fighting to live. She is a
Gift to her mother and father.
Here by her side they wait
Instilled with grief instead of
Joy, they know all they can do is
Kneel and pray to the
Lord and ask for his help.
May he give her the strength to
Never give up. There is always an
Option much better than that.
People come by to ask the
Questions, but never have the answer
Requested.
She is so tiny, but look there, she's
Thriving. Can the nightmare be over? It's all so
Unreal. Her parents know that
Victory is only thanks to the Lord.
Without him this wouldn't be. An
X-ray just to be sure.
Yes, her heart is pumping with
Zealous.. she will be alright.
