I want to stare into your eyes
long enough to read your mind
to find out how we are
and what we did that made this life so hard
to picture us
it makes me want to scream
I'd do anything to get them back
so they're not only dreams
and i don't have a backup plan
all I have is a straight face
and i cant sleep without thinking
someone's going to take my place
and they said to watch out for you
and to always keep you close
but you're the one I'm losing because I love you the most
On the day you said goodbye to me
I thought about you endlessly
and i still can't let you go
but I guess you'll never know
I guess I am a useless toy you play with when you're bored
and you'll forget me when you're busy
like you always did before
but you don't need things like the world
what the world needs is a boy and a girl
so can i reach for you as days go on?
when everybody else is gone?
and can you listen to my voice?
like you have no other choice?
