Scott Donnely. Life's best freind after he defends her. Dreams of being an author. 25 when he meets Hope as a janitor at Johnsen High School. Hope helps him reach his dream when his book, Time to go off, is published and becomes a bestseller. Marries her at the age of 29.

Mr. Sol (Jerry Sol). An art teacher at Johnsen Hight that influences Life. He is mugged and hit by a car when Life comes to save him. Dies in Bayonne Hospital at 57.

Alice Cormor. Hope's best friend throughout high school and college until the architectural contest. Hope wins, and Alice's bitter thoughts encourage her to try to make Hope's life miserable.

Harmony and Pirate. Harmony is a stray female mutt. Priate is Hope's white scottish terrier. When they have a litter of 4 pups, Hope is able to help Life get a dingy little apartment after her eviction.
