Well, I once was a sailor in the channels of your mind
I offered you a smile so embarassingly pure
I called your name across the milky sky in hopes that you might hear me

All the world is watching
This is as pretty as it gets
So take that wave standing

All dressed in my emotions, my thoughts became wings
And I was floating on the notion of your smile
Never had I wanted more to feel at once your brow upon mine

I weep with no conviction
I have seen without even looking
Straight through your eyes all flowering with pride

Rise to the occasion like a trembling tree

Your solitude is beautiful and full of words you'd never say to me

Your shame is my weakness
