Christine and robert find true love online.
The sun was slowly rising in the sky,and it was already scorching. The birds chirpping making it impossible to lounge in bed. That was ok she had plenty to do today. She smiled as ahe thought of him again, her heart leaping. Every time she though of him her chest tightened and she felt like crying out into the world, but calm reserve kept her form doing so.It had been only Three weeks anyways, not Even enough for her to be feeling this way but she did and she loved it. Smiling again she started her day. She had so much that she wanted to do,to show him but most of all she just wanted to be together with him. She smiled at the thought of one of there discusions and even blushed even though it was from a day when there thoughts were still pristene. She brushed her hair and set to getting ready. He was on the road by now and hopfully just as excited. Brushing her hair up into a ponytail, just for now, she got into the shower. It would be the first of perhapse two or three that day, not wanting anything but sweetness to fill his nose. She stepped out and dryed off feeling refreshed and enerjetic, but sitll just as nervouse. What if he didnt like.....she pushed the tought aside, she knew it would drive her mad. She picked out her favorite lotion, got to be soft for him, and smiled as she rubbed it in. She imagined the hands of her lover running over her sofly caressing, and she blushed again. She put on some pajamas and went to the kitchen. she knew if she dressed to soon she would be a wreck, and might dirty up the special dress just for the ocassion. It was a beutiful dress, perfect, she hoped she would look like the timeless classic the dress made her feel like. She smiled as she thought about how its been so long since she'd wanted to dress up, had a reson, and she loved the feeling. It was becoming later so as she finished her breckfast of blackberries, strawberries, and whipped cream followed by a glass of orange juice she called, needing to hear his voice, needing to know he was still safe. they made nervous idal chit chat both knowing what the other was feeling. The smile that never left her face became even bigger, as she blushed at the sound of his vioce. It was all so new to her and so funny, she had never talked to a man like him before. He had a sensitive heart, as it too had been broken to much. he had a kind soul, ever seeking the next way to please those that he loved. he had a very, big, brain, and he made her feel smarter just alowing her to use her's.They had Long smart conversations about life in general. Thoughts on the past, the present, and the future. the future made her smile. she was shoked at how easily he had slipped in. Trust had never been a strong piont with her but she gave it to him freely, her soul knowing it was ok to do so.She smiled once more and let him go, she didnt want to distract him while he was driving, he just had to be safe. with one finaal thought to the soul traviling long miles to be reunited with hers she looked into the mirror and smiled, grabbed final articals to finish up plans and set out on her day.

As she paused at the door, Looking back and ensurimg everything was okshe thought about how they had meet. A fairly popular online hangout, about the norm she suposed,a picture and a discriptio, with the hopes of meeting a new freind. She had just been wishfully thinking of course, when she had posted the question in the group. Then his face showed up in her inbox. she almost dissmissed it but something spoke to her heart and she had no choice. She opened and read, and the words soothed her. Yes there was a prince charming out there she just had to look and open her heart.

she put the copy of that first post away and started the car. She had all of them stshed away in a folder with his name ,every letter every chat. She read them and re-read them memorizing the words, imprinting them on her heart for she knew he was it, the other half she had been searching for. they had talked so much the last few weeks and everything she had bounced of him had come back full force with the same answer that was wispering in her head. They were like one and yet sofar just difrent enough to make things interesting.Hoping if he ever found out about her folder he wouldnt think it strange, she drove off finishing her plans. she darted her way around town with nervous energy. Her first stop was the perfect gift, for he was driving down to see her. then with nervous excitement she called the meeting place as she had done twice before to make sure it was still open. it was just a small cffe house but intement, with tables just big enough to hold hands and gaze into each others eyes. She smiled as she Pictured there first encounter. He would walk up and she, feeling so beutifull in her perfect drees, would go completly weak and shy, as usal, and then he would.....she was getting butterflies thinking of it.She was nuervous still, hoping the plans she made for them would be ok. she was still alittle sad that her top chioce didnt pan out. Closed, they just couldnt aforrd to stay open. it was a small museum, only asking donations and well they were not getting enough. she had wanted that to be there special thing, she knew by the sound of his vioce how much he would love it. He started talking about space and being an astronaut and his voice turn to that of a little boys excited about the future. She doubted he even relized that and it endeared her to him even more. She stopped daydreaming then got on her way.She still had to get ready and she headed back home as nevouse as a cat in a kenal, feeling completly joyfull at the same time.

She made it home and got out of the car, turning back to grab the folder of him. She wasnt ready for him to see it yet because she wasnt sure what he would think. She took it inside along with her gift, didnt want it melting, and placed it all on the counter. It was a very hot day already so she swished down almost an intire bottle of water and set about getting ready. She had sweated a bit, partly from the heat, partly from nerves and partly from just thinking of him. she looked at her computer, she had left it on that morning,to the page for the little place she had suggested for them to stay.It was beutifull and romantic, she new they could just enjoy the momment and each other there, and be completly comfortable. She flicked over to the map, guessing at were he might be by now,and smiled. she felt like screaming again, just imagining his Touch. She noted the time, still had plenty, and went to her cell phone. she didnt want to distract him but she needed him to know she was thinking of him.she sent a kiss, as she had countless times before, smiling yet again thinking of his.then she went to the bathroom. she was so nervous, she drew a bath, in hopes of calming her nerves. as she soaked in the water she dreamed, that first kiss, it would be magical. She was afraid the smile would never leave her face.she chose the best smelling soap she had and lathered it on wondering if he would smell just as good. The sent of manliness mixed with his collnge, she was intreged, she didnt know what he wore. She new he would be sweating on his way down and it didnt bother her. he mentioned freshing up before meeting but secretly she hoped he didnt have time. the smell Of a man in his nateral primal stat, even if he was just driving, just made her blood go all hot.She washed her hair wanting it to be soft to the touch She put the conditioner in and layed back relaxing and dreaming. They had descussed alot inthe past weeks, Detailing things about them selves. He had Told her things she new was very hard for him, and loved the fact he cared enought to overcome the fear. as they discribed them selves to each other, each relizing how much the were inside eachothers heads, the also moved into eachothers hearts more and more.she already loved the little things he tought silly about himself and waited patiently for the next time when she would hear them. She sat up calm with the thought of the smile in her head. she imagined it to be very nice. she had seen the smile in baby photos he'd sent but his pictures from more recently had no smile, she hoped she could change that. As she got out and towl dried, she looked in the mirror, it was amazing to her that a kind word could change her out look on aperinces. She had never befor felt pretty but he made her feel beutifull. She hoped she helped by telling him just as much how handsome he was to her. The smile growwing ever bigger, she reached for the lotion that matched the soap. Rubbing it in she thought of times in the future, of them together, and blushed. She finished up spraying a light mist of matching purfume and Placed her robe on. Not getting dressed yet she went and sat at her computer. She had just recently started writing again, something she hadnt done since high school, and was decovering the joy of it all over again. she worked a bit on the story unfolding out of her but had to much nervous energy to think. She though about the one thing that made her fall so hard so quick. He acepted the fact that she had children with such ease it was amazing. They were going to her brothers for the evening, and if it turned out as well as she knew, he would be meeting them tommorow. she and him would take them for Ice cream and to the park, nothing fancy and the kids would like it, for what kid doesnt like free ice cream. She looked at his picture again, a habit she had fallin into when she missed him.Its funny, she woundered if it was even possible to miss someone she hadnt met yet? She felt like a silly romantic fool but she new there souls new eachother and smiled.Burning off nurvouse energy she moved to the sink, finishing dishes from breakfast and cleaning up. She caught herself humming again, she did that often now, and smiled. She checked the time and relized she was daydreaming the day away. Not long now so she called, one more time making sure he was safe and conferming his werabouts, so she knew how much time she had. then after goodbyes for now, she set off to realy get ready. She ironed her dress then set it aside for just a bit longer. She went to the bathroom, and puled out her make-up. never wearing much, she picked out a few things. She brushed on the mascara blinking tears of joy away. Next a little blush to enhance the natural blush she was sure to have. then some lipstick, not to much, and some lip gloss. She felt like she looked fine so she quit and went to get her dress on. Feeling just like a princess, she swished around in front of the mirror and smiled. She slipped into her shoes and ste out twards the kitchen. seeing the time she Hurried and got some more water. this was it, she gathered her things,His gift, her keys, her purse. Her chest tightened wth excitment. She locked the door and shut it. walking to her car she smiled as she set out on the first adventure of the rest of her life.

As He drove He thought. It had just been a single Letter, words of encouragment for finding her true love, nothing special. As they started talking though he discovered very quick it would turn out to be so much more. He was getting closer to her in mind and spirit and heart and started sweeting at the thought they would be as one toninght. His nevouseness took over, and he started to shake just a little. He smiled as he relized no this wasnt nerves, it was excitment. He could recall the same feeling waiting the 30 aganizing seconds to hear her voice on the phone the first time. the way they were so in tunned to eachother, it was amazing. They talked about life, the future and he did see her there. she completed him and he smiled again at the thought. She had some interesting things planed for this trip he was sure, but he didnt know hed givin her complet control. It was a hard thing for him to do and not worry but with her it was easyier. she sounded so beutifull talking of her plans, like a little girl with a present for her best freind. she wanted so bad to tell him and yet also wanted to keep it a suprise. He drove along to the sound of the ever changing music, because at this piont the music was changing as fast as his emotions did.He felt like he was on a roller coaster, with emotions flying, and her arms around him, keeping him safe. His hands tapped to the beat of the music still shaking a bit. They had shared so much more than a normal coupple would in the begining, he new her very well already and looked forward to knowing her better. He thought about her opfften and smiled and wondered if she did the same.He looked down at the post he had brought with him to calm his nerves, just her simlple letter yesterday telling of he excitement. He smiled, he could almost her the childlike excitementr in the words she had typed. He new that very few suprises would be bestowed upon him for she was so eger to tell,to share her delight with him, and her love.he looked back at the road concentrating on driving, gotta be safe for his Christine, already he felt a stab of pain at the thought of her sad or in pain. She had had a tought life and he was going to protect her with his love from any more baddness, for even if she didnt think she deserved it he new she did.he was having a very dificult time driving, for he kept imagining the momment when they would finaly come to gether and look into one anothers eyes.He had a few things up his sleave for this trip to but un like her he was giddy with delight for keeping it form her. He liked hearing the excitment in her voice when he mentioned secret plans and she just sighed and driffted off, using her imagination as to what it may be. He only hoped he came close to what was playing in her head but he knew he would because they were so in sync already it was unreal. She was kind and gental and considerate and yes definatly full of passion, passion for life and for those she loved.and she was smart, even though she didnt know it, so very smart.she was not a typical girl, she liked the idea of romance and even romancing her man, it was a new and nice change. he knew she would never hurt him and it was both scary and excitting to them both. Giving another person your heart and knowing how gental they will be with it but worriing about the painfull what ifs wispering in the back of your mind, but wanting to more than ever, it was definatly delisously nervwracking.

He jumped at the sound of the phone, and knew it was her with out even looking. Yes he was doing fine, no problems car running fine yes getting anxouse. She sounded like a little girl waiting for her new puppy, and he smiled, at her inocence. He tought to there late night talks as they shared deep thoughs and desires, and wondered how a woman who seemed so inocent and sweet, could know exzactly what he needed for both his mind and body.He shivered at the though and hoped he didnt Move to fast for her, fighten her. She was very excited at the though and yet he could hear the aprehension at the same time. He heard the longing in her voice, of the disire to just be held and feel safe and he knew without a doubt he would spend a lifetime providing that feeling for her.His heart skipped a beat as he saw the sign, He was getting near and with on las glance in the moirror, he pushed his foot on the gas even more, longing to kiss and hold her.One more call form her, she just wanted to check in see how mouch time she had to be beutifull, and he told her she already was. He heard her blush and smiled, knowing soon he would see it. She was not the kind to think her self beautiful and he wanted to continuosly try to convince her of it. He also was not the kind to think him self handsome but every day she told him it was so. It was not easy for him to acept a woman dotting on him like that but she made it easy. He smiled with quite aceptance now when she said it, knowing she ment it. he wondered if she toughjt about him as offten during the day and if her smile was ever as big. he realy couldnt comprehend how it could be. I was getting very nervous now, and reasured her once again all was well and he would be with her soon.as they hung up the phones, he was eger to see her eyes dance as she laughed.to feel her hair on his lips as they held on another. He was entering her town now and he pulled over to get his bearings about him, he had never felt so completly calm and so full of nerves at the same time. he pulled out the map and rechecked his route. she had said the coffe shop bye her house. he tought it cute she was already thinking of things to do that interested him, just to ensure his comfort.like the musem she wanted to take him to. it had closed because the didnt recive enough donations so she couldnt. he heard the disapiontment in her voice as she told him. she knew his love of the sky and space and wanted to see him see it.but she perked right up when she started hinting to other plans. ok well this was it. he straigtened up and took a deep breath. He speed up slightly as he headed into the first day of the rest of their lives.

Internet Connections Cht.2

She walked out to the car and her chest tightened. Excitement flushed her cheeks and she felt like screaming. This was it, the day they had both been waiting for. She smiled even bigger still to think of the last two days. They had been wonderfully nerve-racking for her. She was not nervous even now just excited beyond hope. Feeling like a kid at Christmas she got into the car, turned the engine on and sat for a few seconds. She had to breathe now. she knew that no matter how excited she was right now she was going to slam into shy as soon as she saw him, hoping she still felt as beautiful as she did right now. The right dress could do wonders for a woman's self esteem and she had defiantly found one. She flipped the radio on but she didn't like the station, not just then anyways. It had been on the Love song channel for about two weeks straight but not today, too much energy. She needed something to release the pent up emotion.

As she found her favorite rock station she pulled out daydreaming more. about the wonderful late night talks, how he made her feel so pretty and special even when she couldn't make herself feel that way.Se had been pondering how she could miss him so already and they had not even met yet. Driving slowly now she tried to concentrate. The last two days had been so long for her, she was so anxious. She had tried everything she could to keep her mind occupied to no avail, she still longed for it to arrive. She laughed at herself as she remembered darting from one chore to another, not being able to focus long and just giving up. She couldn't sit still. She walked allot in just those two days. The only thing she found that helped was her story, she was able to let out so many emotions in that and it helped. As she got closer to the meeting point she had to pull over for a minute, compose herself. It was not the first time the adrenaline had flowed through her like this. She had to calm down the excitement was getting to her, her chest tightened and her heart Leapt in anticipation. She wanted to cry out, scream her delight but all she did was laugh. One more deep breath with the hopes she would be everything he thought she was, she moved on, trembling with calm excitement. The shake became even worse as she pulled into the parking lot, she didn't know whether to get out and wait or let him get out and wait. She was actually just hoping to be able to walk at this point. She took another deep breath, for she knew it was a big moment in their lives and with calm reserve waited smiling as big as ever at the anticipation and joy.Finaly as she calmed herself she got out., choosing a table out front she waited, the smile never leaving her face.

Robert took a deep breath and tried to keep from speeding as he inched into town. He was defiantly getting excited and he wondered if Christine was also. He tapped the steering wheel with one hand and nervously fussed with the other hand. Straightening his shirt, smoothing his hair, and hoping he looked as good as she made him feel. He was trembling with excitement and felt like dancing. She was so right for him and he knew it. She had seen his days of irritation even if it was just through the computer and still she was there. He remembered that day. He was very upset and irritated; he smiled as he thought of how she had tried to cheer him up. Small little jokes, words of encourage ments, and the soft spoken wishes of her wanting to hug the badness out of his world. He didn't think she knew just how much she had helped. He had talked to her that night with the skip back in his step, ready and willing to face the day. just a small irritation really but Her caring and wanting to comfort and her effort to pull him out of his withdrawal got him thinking of hard times in the future and in that moment he knew he would never go through them alone. Christine would always be there to hold him, wether it be just another bad day or a serious traumatic event in both their lives, and that brought more comfort then she would ever know. He shoke the smile out of his eyes, just for now as he pulled into the parking lot.Adreniline flowed through his veins and he shoke like a leaf in an autumn windstorm. He took one last deep breath and reached for the door handle smiling at the thought of the first sight of her. As he opened the door and got out he composed himself smoothing and straitening yet again. With excitement leaping in his chest he moved to the front of the building.

She had gotten their way to early, she showed up as he told her 34 miles to go. It was the longest thirty minutes of her life. She smoothed her dress, went and asked for a glass of water, checked a dozen time out the window all while trying to breath. She even asked the worker in the coffee shop, a complete stranger, if she looked alright. Christine was very anxious all right. Her chest tightened and she wanted to scream. She nervously watched every car that went by even though she knew his was green. Suddenly there it was, her pulse raced. He did a fast turn into the parking lot so she could not see his plates but she knew it was him when he put the shade in the window. He all ways spoke of removing it getting in his truck after work. Her heart went straight to her throat as she saw him walk to the door; he was the most gorgeous man she had ever seen. His picture did not do him justice in the least, and his nervous smile melted her right there. He walked into the door and looked at her. As he walked up, "Christine" he said, she barely managed to squeak out the yes when he looked down on her and pulled her chin up for a light soft kiss. As she tried to keep from fainting they sat at the table. Her heart was racing and she couldn't breath. She was soaring and reeling at knowing it was him, the one she had been waiting for. He spoke trying to ease her jitters. "its ok, calm down" Robert said."What do you have planed" he asked trying to no avail too distract her from the rush. "I don't know" was all she could manage. She was breathing like she had run all the way here even though she had been sitting forever. Finally they decided to go to the bed n breakfast as she thought he would want to freshen up. They got into the car, and his gift of chocolate was given. She loved it and smiled thinking she should not have written off doing the same, would have made a cute story. As they drove she still tried to calm herself and the only thing she could think to do was hold his hand, for strength. She interlocked their fingers and his hand rested at her heart until they arrived at their home for the night.

They walked hand in hand her heart finally calming down as they entered. The owner met them at the door and told all they needed to know of their accommodations. They went to their room and shut the door. He walked up to her and gently pulled her to him, kissing lightly. As she tried to faint again she sat down on the bed. Still completely speechless she stared in wonder at the man before her. She took a deep breath and asked of his drive down. "IT was ok" he replied, "I didn't get nervous till Oklahoma". "I'm shaking" he said and she knew exactly how he felt. Now at the end of their long journey together, their souls danced. They kissed and talked just holding each other and being together. He lay upon her and just touched, everywhere, feeling her heart race he kissed it. as they chit chatted, her loving the feel of His weight on top of her, feeling safe for the first time ever, she finally calmed down. They had so much in common it was like they were back on the phone and on the computer there playful banter coming out full force. She felt a need she had never felt before in that momment.not one of lust, no this was much deeper. She needed to touch his soul with hers. This is crazy she thought. But her emotions just took over. She kissed him deeply pulling him to her, and they both Melted Into the bed. When at last neither one could breath, she let go. As they soared dangerously towards ecstasy he pulled away, asking of simpler things, like what she wanted to do. They decided on a walk, at the lake there in town. She was barefoot for she had forgotten her shoes and they walked and talked, about the drive and about life in general. The playfull banner ensued, as they reveled little more about themselves the whole time. He walked to match her speed and they alternated between holding each other and holding hands stopping only long enough to kiss at times. She was slowly returning to earth her nerves calming and they talked. He told her of his love for her over and over again in cute creative ways sealing each one with a kiss. As they walked her heart sighed, and she was happy. Finally they made it back to the truck, after her clinging to dear life to him as he had picked her up and carried her across a puddle. It was Silly really but it made her heart skip a beat none the less. She smiled at their silliness together and knew they would share it for years to come. They went to eat almost getting lost for the second time cause she couldn't stop looking at him long enough to give correct directions. They laughed together about it and finally made it. They went in the restraunt and sat down finally able to focus completely on one another, each one looking into the others eyes. They became as kids again as they played footsies and held hands under the table as they ate. She became nervous again as she realized, he could not stop looking at her. He offered some of his food and She Herr's and blushed inside at the intimacy of doing so. They finished dinner and walked outside. Hand in hand they made it to the car slowly not wanting to break contact. They reached her door and he unlocked it, and she found she could not open it, not without the magic of a kiss. Smiling at their new found game he bent down to oblige her and she stepped on tippy toes to return the kiss. Door safely opened and both people in the car, they kissed again. As they drove off she decided to take them to another small lake they had there but she had a surprise waiting for him there. She had checked the place out only the day before and found the perfect spot to watch the sunset. As they drove she reached up and played with his hair, ears, and his cheeks. She traced his lips with her fingers just taking it all in, the feel of him, really finally here with her. They reached the lake, got out and met in the back of the truck with a kiss. Their hands found their way together without a thought. She led him around the path and finally after dozens of kisses they came to it. She told him to close his eyes and hold on for she was leading him there. He mustered up his strength for it wasn't easy to give her control like that, not knowing where they were going or what she was doing. As he opened his eyes he saw they were surrounded by trees all except for in front of him, there the setting sun. She looked so beautiful in her childlike pride of finding this spot, just for the two of them. he took her in his arms, Reached down and cupped her face ever so gently, and pulled himself down for a long slow kiss. She rose up and meet him half way, joined once more and passion over flowing. Their hands wandering more freely now, they kissed. Completely lost in the beauty of each other and what they had found. They only stopped long enough to hug and watch the setting sun, for a second before there mouths found each other's once again. Finally they released one another with an air of promise, and realized they had missed the sun setting. They laughed at themselves once again and sett of, this time a movie. It was a sci-fi romance. As the movie went on they held fast to one another ever fearful of having them fly away from them, kissing at every chance they got. Walking out of the theatre arm in arm Very impressed, they walked back outside to the truck. They stopped at the door and kissed, opening it once again and got in. As they made their way home for the night nervous chit chat and playful banter filled the cab once again. Both knew what was going to happen, and each was ready. They walked in to the room and turn down the covers. She undressed leaving only her shirt on and he left his shorts. They crawled into bed and met in the middle. Kissing and hugging and Feeling each other body's for the first time. He laid her back on the pillows and kissed with a new need they both had. His hands grazing her face, lightly brushing across her lips as he bent down to kiss her neck. Senses heightened already she arched for him allowing him to take the fullness of her breast into his egger mouth. As his tongue danced on her nipple the other caressed eagerly, feeling feverently for some place he had yet to touch. His hand ran from her neck to her hips, fingertips grazing lightly. He moved down her legs caressing each one massaging any tension away. As she arched again she lightly grasped his shoulders and started a slow kneading. Her legs separating for him as his fingers danced just outside of her womanhood. She gasped and pulled him to her for a deep kiss. As she teased brushing her kiss lightly across his lips at first he entered her. His arms wrapped tight to her not letting her go. She almost cried out but bit her lip, the tip of him sliding in so gently. She held him with her body and her soul, clinging to him for dear life as they started a slow hypnotic rocking her legs wrapped as tight around his waist as her arms they flew together into the feeling. Her hand grazed his beautiful body and she clung to him riding the wave and never wanting to get off. She called out his name and pulled his face to her for a deep kiss telling her pleasure at that moment. She gasped as they reached the edge together looking into his eyes and seeing her reflection she cried out again, hugging him close and never letting go. Still lightly rocking they clung to each other, basking in the joy of love. Finally when they had caught their breath and could see again they moved into each other's arms and slept. Each one hugging the other clinging to them afraid they would vanish into the night.

"Do you want a shower my love" Robert said as he bounded out of bed the next morning. They gathered there bathrobes and towels and proceeded to clean each other from head to toe using only their hands. Both completely happy, self control prevailed although she smiled at his obvious excitement at her hands on him. They stepped out toweled off and had a long silly love drunk breakfast, making idle chit-chat with the owner as she cooked it. They played and tease, both with a childlike exuberance, barely able to finish the large meal. They walked arm in arm afterwards in the garden and looked at and smelled the flowers. Christine spoke of childhood memories and Robert just watched her eyes dance as she talked. It was getting late and they had big plans today. They went and gathered their things and after they paid and loaded the truck they set off. She was excited; he was meeting her children today. They had both agreed that if it was still as wonderful as they both secretly new it would be, he would meet them right off. He was nervous afraid the children would not like him and Christine tried to calm his nerves. She knew he would do fine; she had rasied caring compassionate children, so far. Siriah was the oldest almost 7 and mommies little diva/tomboy. She had all the confidence and self esteem Christine wished she had and it made her very happy. Siriah had no trouble making a friend and keeping them. She had her mother's sensitivity and compassion and that's what made her such a good friend. She was an excellent big sister, always tending to Tristan's needs. He was four and just as mischivious as they come. He loved to tumble and rough house though he was usually the first to give up. He loved to make others around him laugh already and worked ever so hard lately at perfecting his knock-knock jokes. He too was a sensitive and caring child. He was mommy's boy when he was hurt or rebutted by his big sister, for however much she took care of him, he did still get on her nerves. Always needing a hug or some form of contact for reassurance. They picked them up and went to the park. The children were shy at first running automatically to the play ground. Siriah's curiosity got the better of her first and she rejoined Christine and Robert on the blanket. They drew her into the conversation slowly easing her along. Siriah looked at her mom and knew she was happy and relaxed at once. They laughed and joked as they watched Tristan play bulldozer with his hands in the dirt. As if he sensed the love that was spreading, Tristan ran over and plopped right in christens lap. They laughed and played a new game with mommy, and tristen soon tired of vying for moms lap moved to Roberts like he was an old friend. They laughed and played every minute the kids warming up even more. They loved attention and Robert loved giving it. They were like three peas in a pod almost instantly. In between her playing games with the children and Robert she sat back and watched. Seeing her children light up like they hadn't before she smiled. She felt a new warmness spreading in her heart and this one was very calming. They walked hand in hand with siriah leading the way offering a running commentary on life in general. They stopped at the rose garden and played in the gazebo, laughing and smiling the whole time.siriah was busy collecting "treasures" off the ground and Tristen was just busy running and playing as all boys do. Finally it got hotter so they decided to go eat and cool off. She smiled as they ate and she witness the paternal nature sneak out a little. He was flushed but she couldn't quite tell if it was the heat or the togetherness they were all starting to share. They finished up and headed out again. She drove to their next spot, a center of sciences with hands on approach, and a favorite hot spot for everyone in her town. She was perturbed to remember when she got there it was closed on Mondays so they decided to feed the ducks and play. they parked the car and grabbed the extra French frees for the ducks.Cristine suddenly felt self conscious cause she realized, Robert could not seem to take his eyes off her. She didnt tease or mention it though, she felt the same way. She felt pride at the mom he saw when he stood back and watched. She secretly smiled knowing he brought out just that much more of the goodness in her. She faced the most glorious moment of the entire visit with calm reserve as they walked towards one of many groups of ducks. Christine and Robert hand in hand, the Siriah in front leading as always, and Tristen lagging behind growing slightly tired but lagging more for wanting to examine everything he saw. As they walked Christine's heart leapt as Siriah grabbed a hold of her hand and Tristan a hold of his sisters. They looked like family, and Christine Felt it was supposed to be. she felt a calm peace spread through her as she saw clearly into the future, seeing him in it completly. It felt as natural as breathing, them all being together and she new in that moment that no longer how long it took and how long she had to wait and work on mending his wounded heart, she would wait. The day grew later as the time for him to leave grew near. Her chest tightens at the thought of him away from her again but she knew it would not be long till they would be together again and smiled secretly to herself. They walked calmly and lingeringly to the car, Siriah on Roberts's shoulders giggling and tristen lagging behind inspecting the world. Christine strolled along with tristen coaxing him along and watching with pride her family in the making. She knew it would take time and really she wanted it to, for she knew this was forever. They got into the car and as they started off back to Roberts truck, she got quiet, not wanting there time together to end so soon. As they got closer her grip on his hand grew tighter, as if to silently say don't go. He sensed it and squeezed back, looking with love at her. She tensed at the sight of his truck and dreaded the good bye. She grabbed the things she had packed for the day and looked at him, biting her lip. She smiled warmly as he went to say goodbye to the children and both embraced him with a hug reserved for a special friend. He returned to Christine, they came together and hugged neither one wanting to part both of them knowing they must. He kissed and said goodbye, she kissed and said goodbye, it went back and forth until the emotion inside her welled up and she felt the tears threaten to burst. She walked away after one last kiss and Whispered "I Love You" and got into her car, she knew if she didnt then she never would. As she watched him pull off she swallowed her tears and put a smile back on her face to match the one in her heart. She drove home as she told herself Soon they would be together again. As she drove Daydreams of their future together filled her head. She laughed a little at the realization of seeing him in the future with her and the kids, spending time as the family they would be come. It was the first time she had ever had daydreams like this about anyone. The relationships of the past for her did not go much past the Physical world but with Robert it was different. yes she thought about it and even wanted it, but the thoughts that made her dance the most was the thought of the time they would share together, as a family and as a couple. The song that had played in her head after their love-making last night started playing again as she headed home to write.

It had been exzactly one week and she was still realing in the feelings he gave her. Christine smiled and tought about him, more oftten now. His smile, his broad sholders, The kindness she saw inhis eyes. She liked that ha was taller than her, she had tro look up to see him. it made her feel safe for some reson, to be hidden in his shadow.
