First Verse
During my younger days I had such careless ways.
Drove my car from bar to bar and had a drink or two.
So at dawn I'd travel on and keep some rendezvous.
I knew them all short or tall including, my Peggy Sue.

I danced with chicks had conflicts that led to a fight.
Got my kicks received licks from being out all night.
In my old Ford I was never bored making my rounds.
Here to there without a care I drove to all the towns.
