The Necros


In December 1965 Siberia, something unexplained happen in deep forest that killed most of the Siberian population. In 3 days, the whole Siberia became a barren place except for a certain secret base that the British intelligence managed to discover. It was a highly fortified Russian technology research centre that has Europe watching closely.

Then in 1966, British intelligence report of an unknown species that roams Siberia. The reports that were sent back saying “Something unusual and unexplained is happening inside the base that we do not know of. The species that were let out came in hordes and they disperse in seconds. What we know off, it is not something in this world” .

The British informed the European union of their findings and automatically placed Russia in the limelight. Russian government denies all allegations that had thrown at them and promised Europe that they will send their units to stop any operation on that base. British unit backs off from the operation awaiting answers from Russia. But at daybreak, Russia had send an S.O.S signal to seek Europe’s assistance. Europe watches as Russia came under attack from an unknown faction.

Whatever happened behind that wall has finally came out and attack Russia with unbelievable force. The British intelligence that were sent to Siberia were never heard of again. In such cases, Europe declares a state of emergency to the world. After a week of onslaught attacks, Russia has fallen.

The survivors that ran to the neighbouring country said of a rampaging beast that has the weapon of mass destruction. Europe knew that they were facing an enemy they can't destroy. Russia, the world largest country has fallen in a week. Something unbelievable is happening.

In May 1966, after months of silence from Russia, the mutated being had emerge itself out of the Russian border. The so-called inhuman being had started to destroy most of the neighbouring countries defences and soon, the expansion of attacks has begun. Finland,Estonia,Latvia,Lithuania,Belarus & Ukraine were heavily attacked. The video footage of the war made European government froze in their seats. The enemy is not human but a highly mutated being that is equipped with weapons that can destroy anything in its way. In a day, the countries mentioned above were destroyed.

The unexplained theory was, the corpse of the victim were taken by the being back to Russia. Not even a single corpse were left. This was confirmed by British intelligences that there is a mastermind behind the attack and forbidden technology were used in this non-humanoid construction.

Most of the smaller European countries start to seek refuge from the powerful countries as they knew they can't hold their defences against the inhuman attacks. Chaos arise and conflicts grew everywhere. The powerful countries can't hold the massive oncoming refugees and their untried were denied and most had to retreat to their homeland. The Necros as what they are being called now is in a slumber again. That was the time given for the Europeans to flee and seek refuge and also to strengthen their defences. Finally, the biggest defence ever created were in France. France had their superior weapons and war tactics which were good at delaying the enemy for a few days. The civilians from Europe was seeking shelter in Africa. A monetary agreement was promised till Europe is safe.

In December 1966, Necros send a message from Moscow. Demand all living being to be under their leadership or face extinction. After their expansion on Europe, Asia will be the next target. The United States of America declares war on the Necros after their worldwide broadcast. Finally Asian agreed to join forces and eradicate this doomsday nemesis.

“D” day finally came and in France the European Resistance (E.R) has strengthen their defence system. The only thing for them to do is to wait for Necros oncoming attack. 1 day has pass and yet there is no sign of the Necros, not even their shadows. The European Resistance send reports to America and Asia about the delay. They waited again but the Necros never came.

Finally, the European Resistance decides to attack the Necros territory. Huge forces join the fight and they march into the territory. But the Necros were nowhere to be found. They comb the area for any corpse or evidence that the Necros are here but there were no tracks at all.

The leaders were baffled. Their only answer to where is the Necros lies was in the country where it all began. Russia. They march in slowly fearing that the Necros are hiding. Some soldiers became hysterical while some lost their faith. There were even soldiers that committed suicide in order not to be killed by Necros. But what they saw in Russian was, it has become a ghost country. No sign of life. Buildings were destroyed as if there was a big nuclear meltdown.

They reached Moscow city in hope to meet the enemy there, but what awaits them was rubble after rubble. The reports were sent to HQ about the phenomenon which baffle everyone. Special team were sent to the primary site of the cause. The secret base was empty, they couldn't find anything except high concentration of radiation.

Scientist were sent to recce the battle site. After much investigation and research, the truth came to light.

There was NO such thing as Necros. There are no evidence to support the existence of Necros. What they found in Siberia was a Nuclear blast that kills anything in its way including Russia's neighbours. The aftermath of the blast resulted in the creation of hallucinogenic compounds with delibitating effects. To make matters worst, the compounds were airborned. It has latent effects in which it has delayed detections of up to a year or more. The perplexity of the matter has made it a worldwide issue. In addition, to add fuel to the fire, a contradictory and puzzling claim made by the group of scientists stating that;“The good thing, we are hallucinating. But the bad news was, there was a very bad side effect and its growing now. The chemical develop tumour in our brain cells and its an epidemic”

As if the Earth has stop spinning, so will Time.

Even there was no such thing as Necros, their survival was threatened because there is no cure for a highly fast developed tumour except death. Maybe as what someone said, “The Necros had really won the war after all...”
