This is the documentry of how my husband changed my life for the good.
I met my husband in highschool but you can't call us highschool sweethearts. We were just friends who happened to take a same course together. We hit it off almost instantly. In the middle of my freshman year, we both moved away from our school, me to another school, him to another state.

In the mean-time, life passed for me rather slow. At 16, I lived with my grandmother, taking care of her. When she broke her hip, it took all I had to not break down. By the time I turned 17, I really was taking care of my grandma. I got up in the morning and went to school, came home and caitered to her every need. When she got to the point where she couldn't get out of bed anymore, it was me that was there blowing off school so I could help lift her out of her bed and to the living room. Three months before i turned 18, i had to drop out of highschool so i could be home full time with her, but i didnt drp out competely. I enrolled in night school and took classes that way.

After I turned 18, I thought I needed a little freedom. I asked my aunt to take me with her on her job. That is where I turned to drugs hardcore. I met a guy In Arizona that i thought would give me the world. So, when I came back to my grandmother's, I saved up a little extra cash and sent for this amazing guy. I learned later on he was nothing more than a joke. He started smoking meth and getting high all the time and thought that was what I needed to do to keep him with me. So, for 3 months straight, I got high.

By this time, my now husband had moved back to town. This is where you are supposed to wonder how small this world is. He knew my neighbors kids as we had all gone to school together. We started talking about how our lives had been and what we had been up to since we last saw each other.

One day, when I told him that I hadn't eaten in three days, he had a fit. I didn't tell him that it was from the drugs i was doing though. He told me that he was going to take me to get something to eat right then. A week later, I got a call from that wonderful guy accusing me of cheating on him with another guy. So I told him that he could screw off and go somewhere else to find a bitch to screw and get high with.

That same night, I looked at my now husband and asked him "if I pack a bag right now, can i put it in the back of your truck and go with you?" he said "yes" and I was on my way to a new life, I just didn't know it yet.

Two and a half years later, I sit here stone cold sober except for an occasional cigarette, thanking whoever you want to belive in, that I found my husband who took me away from the drugs and gave me a home to live in and our infant daughter to love and cherish.
