X-Mas Fashion Show

The show begins with a young pre-teen in a new matching outfit. She passes by barefooted, makes a turn, and exits the room this early evening.
Grandma and Grandpa have made an appearance after numerous stops. The Christmas clothes are coordinated and vast. The four grandchildren pass by giddily with music as their backdrop.
The neat stacks of garments slowly turn into messy piles of new items with the tags still connected. The kids like the cheers, encouragement and applause they receive, as they switch over to the bin of dress-up clothes.
The box is full of old Halloween costumes, and other creations from hand me downs. A cowboy and cowgirl pass by, then a dinosaur, a bear, and a power ranger. The bride, a brave knight, and Cinderella make their appearance.
The adults begin to worry that the event may never end, their hands becoming red and raw from constant clapping.
An announcement is made that the final participant will be entering. It is baby brother, and he has followed his sisters' instructions like a champ. The little guy will be three soon, and his female siblings have always used him as a gopher, a prop, or a plaything. He is simply pleased to be included. Laughter comes from around the corner, and it reaches a crescendo when brother becomes visible. A happy, dimpled, smiling boy appears. He is in polyester, a very sleek and well kept yellow, blue and red dress. He is Snow White. Grandpa gives the dad a smiling glance, and all dad can do is hold his hands out and shrug. This final runway star takes numerous turns, gives a bow, and retreats to loud acknowledgement.
The comments abound on whether the youngster plays with dolls and pink things, and the boy re-appears for one final bow in his Spider-man undies. Grandma and Grandpa have seen the show, the new toys and Christmas excitement. What a great Christmas it was!
